Winery at Alto Pass,
the largest and oldest winery in southern Illinois. They are
located in the rolling hills of southern Illinois. Come taste
their award winning wines, (over 300 medals since 1988) while
wandering through the 10 acre vineyard and/or just relax and

Alto
Vineyard's wines are made from the finest European\American
hybrid and native American grapes, including dry to sweet
wines, covering the spectrum of whites, blushes and red styles.
They also specialize in producing premium fortified Port style
wines that are great for or with dessert.
In addition to their wide selection of wines enjoy the vistas
of the Illinois Shawnee National Forest, under the shadow
of the 110 feet tall Bald Knob Cross of Peace.
Alto Vineyards also offers picnic baskets, gift baskets, wine
accessories, T-shirts, gourmet food items, local crafts and
much more.
Located
on Highway 127 in the village of Alto Pass, 15 miles south
of Murphysboro and 8 miles north of Jonesboro, in the heart
of the Shawnee Hills Wine Trail.
